Ingredients
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1 (5 ounce) jar processed sharp Cheddar cheese spread
  • 4 ounces aged bleu cheese crumbled
  • 1 small onion, finely minced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Directions
  1. Let cheeses warm to room temperature, then beat together until light and fluffy and well blended. Add orion and garlic.
  2. Shape and roll into a ball, using plastic spatula. Wrap in waxed paper and chill for several hours or overnight.
  3. Roll in chopped nuts until well coated. Keep in refrigerator until needed.
  4. Low-fat cream cheese may be substituted
  5. Serve with crackers, or with cocktail-size rye or sourdough bread.
