Ingredients

How to make it

  • The night before your breakfast, mix oats, milk, cinnamon and sweetener (if using) together in a cereal bowl. (If you are using the dried blueberries, go ahead and add these the night before also making sure they have plenty of liquid covering them.) Now cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge overnight.
  • In the morning, add your fresh berries (if using) and stir gently. Enjoy.

The ideal summer breakfast. I made mine the night before in small canning jars which was easy enough … 1/4 cup rolled oats and a 1/4 cup milk, dash of cinnamon, and a smidge of sugar. The next morning that 'little something' to eat was ready with no fuss. I stirred them up and added a touch more milk. I like cold oats and will make these more often and top with varying fruits.
