Shrimp Tacos Recipe
I started making these as an alternative to chicken and fish tacos and we just love them! I buy the peeled deveined 40's from Costco and they work great.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb peeled deveined size 40 shrimp
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 tbsp Emerils Bayou Blast seasoning
  • shredded cabbage
  • pico de gallo
  • shredded cheddar jack cheese
  • white corn tortillas
  • lime wedges
  • White sauce: equal parts sour cream and mayo
  • 1 tsp Bayou blast and a squeeze of limejuice

Directions
  1. Marinate the shrimp in the lemon/lime juice and Bayou Blast in a ziplock bag for about an hour
  2. I add the whole thing to a skillet and cook til shrimp is done
  3. Warm your tortillas and layer on the shrimp, cabbage, pico and cheese and top with the white sauce and a squeeze of lime
  4. Delicious!
