Fish in green sauce

- fish 4 pc half fried. shopping list
- Boiled potato – 1 shopping list
- Red dry chilli- 1 shopping list
- curry leaves a bunch to make paste shopping list
- (young and half matured leaves in 50:50 ) shopping list
- Garlic- 6 flakes shopping list
- ginger ( grated) ½ tsp shopping list
- fenugreek seeds ¼ ts shopping list
- black pepper powder ½ tsp shopping list
- salt as per taste shopping list
- Turmeric powder- a pinch shopping list
- Curry powder- ¼ ts shopping list
- tomato – 1 ( cut in to pcs) shopping list
- lemon juice ( fresh)- 1tsp shopping list
- corn flour- 2tsp shopping list
- water -1 cup shopping list
- oil 1tbs. shopping list
How to make it
- Grind the curry leaves to make a green paste.
- Add water to the corn flour and keep aside.
- Mesh the boiled potato without leaving any lump keep aside .
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Temper with fenugreek seeds and dry chilli .let it splutter.
- Add the grated ginger, garlic paste. Stir for 1 min.
- Add meshed potato. Stir it for some time. Add salt.
- Add the turmeric powder, curry powder, half of the tomato chopped.
- Cook for some time.
- Add the green paste. Mix it thoroughly and cook for 3 mins.
- Add water and adjust salt.
- When the gravy starts to boil add the corn flour solution. Stir it properly.
- Add the black pepper powder and lemon juice. Mix it.
- Just before turning of the gas add rest of the tomato pcs.
- Serve with rice!

yeye i found a good fish recipe. i love fish (Bengali n South Indian taste after all) but never came accross a really gud 2 experiment with. love this 1. thanks,take care
