This is another recipe from my Aunt Maggie who made these for us when we were kids, many moons ago. I tried them with whole kernel corn and they just aren't as good as the creamed corn. Enjoy

Ingredients

1 cup creamed corn shopping list
1 cup flour shopping list
2 teaspoons granulated sugar shopping list
1 egg shopping list
1 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
1/2 cup milk shopping list

How to make it

Sift dry ingredients together then add egg to milk and mix with dry ingredients.
Fold in corn then drop spoonfuls into hot fat and fry until brown on both sides.
Drain well on paper towels.
