When I saw this, I just had to try it. Love salmon, love my crockpot. I found this originally at www.nikibone.com but also saw it on another website, so I'm not sure who is the real author! The picture is mine though. :) I guessed at the servings... More

Ingredients
  • 1-1/4 lb. salmon fillet
  • 1 tsp. chopped chives
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/4 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup apple juice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 Tbs. lemon juice

Directions
  1. Lay salmon in crockpot skin side down. Sprinkle chives, celery and bay leaf beside salmon.
  2. Stir remaining ingredients together in a bowl. Pour over salmon.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours or on high for 2 hours. Cook until salmon flakes with fork.
  4. Discard bay leaf before serving.
  5. (The piece of salmon shown was only about 3/4 of a pound.)
