Crab and Corn Bisque

- 1/2 cup finely chopped yellow onion shopping list
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green bell pepper shopping list
- 1/2 tbsp finely chopped garlic shopping list
- 1 can cream style corn (14-16oz) shopping list
- 1/2 lb crab meat shopping list
- 1/2 stick butter shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups half and half shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups light whipping cream shopping list
- 2 bay leaves shopping list
- 1 tbsp creole seasoning shopping list
- 5 dashes of Tabasco shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter in pot. Saute onion, pepper, and garlic until they appear glossy in appearance. Slowly whisk in half and half and cream. Stir in cream corn. Add Creole seasoning, bay leaves and Tabasco. Bring to a boil. Add crab meat, reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove bay leaves, serve and enjoy.
