Cheese Filled Turke Meat Loaf

- 1-1.5 lbs of ground turkey shopping list
- 1 jar (1 lb 10 oz) of your favorite pasta sauce (recommend something chunky) shopping list
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten shopping list
- 1/4 cup of plain dry bread crumbs shopping list
- 2 cups of your favorite shredded cheese (recommend colby/cheddar mix) shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat over to 350 degrees.
- In a large bowl, combine turkey, 1/3 cup of Pasta Sauce, egg, and bread crumbs. Add salt and pepper if desired.
- Line a 13 x 9 inch baking pan with foil.
- In the pan, shape the turkey mixture into a rectangle that's slightly smaller than the pan.
- Sprinkle 1.5 cups of cheese down the center, leaving a .75 inch border. Roll, starting at a long end, like a jelly roll. Press ends together to seal.
- Bake uncovered 45 mins.
- Pour remaining sauce over the meatloaf and sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake 15 mins until sauce is heated and cheese is melted.
- Remove from oven and let stand 5 mins before serving.
