I had given my jello cookbook away to a friend (1970's), and had lost this recipe. I truly believed it would be reprinted in future jello cookbooks and it never was. I had lost a favorite holiday cook and have looked for, and asked people about the recipe. You have no idea how happy I was when I saw that you printed this here.
I would used cherry or lime for the red and green Christmas colors. Sometimes I would cut the circles half and half, press the two diffterent colors together (top part green and bottom part red) and pinch back into a circle to look like an orniment ball to decorate the Xmas tree. The cookies never lasted long and most were eaten up before they got hung on the tree. :)
THANK YOU FOR PRINTING THIS RECIPE!!!
