This recipe is seriously under-rated. I first made this close to 30 years ago and it is still a firm favourite. It is very impressive as a dinner party dish and it is absolutely full of flavour. The only thing I've ever tweaked with this recipe is using onion powder instead of onion salt, otherwise it will be too salty. I also double the amount of parmesan, onion powder and (fresh) parsley. It's quite simply, superb!
