- 4 egg whites at room temperature shopping list
- 1 cup castor sugar (granulated) shopping list
- 1 tsp vinegar shopping list
- 1 tsp cornflour shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla flavour shopping list
- strawberries shopping list
- pineapple shopping list
- Bannana shopping list
- kiwi fruit shopping list
- whipped cream shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 140 degrees C a cool oven, if pav starts changing colour during cookin turn it down a bit more
- With an electric mixer beat the egg whites until soft peaks form then gradually add the sugar a tablespoon at a time beating constantly
- till all sugar used and eggw hite is very stiff and glosssy .
- Add the cornflour, vinegar and vanilla and fold through
- When combined turn out into a flat tray that has been greased and dusted with cornflour
- Make a circular shape buiding up at the sides so that it may be served by placing fruit in the centre when cooked
- Cook in a pre-heated, cool oven for one hour dont let get brown it must stay white.
- When cooked turn the oven off leave the oven door slightly open and allow to cool slowly in the oven to dry out more
- Chop fresh fruit bannans(with a squueze of lemon juice to stop discoulouring ) strawberries and chopped pineapple and place in center of Pavlova top with whipped cream and finish with kiwi fruit or strawberrys to decorate
