How to make it

  • Beat the eggs in a large bowl and set aside.
  • Pour the ale into a saucepan and stir in the nutmeg.
  • Heat to nearly boiling, stir in the sugar, and remove from heat.
  • Stir 1/4 cup (50 ml) of the hot liquid into the eggs.
  • Stir in the rest of the liquid slowly, stirring constantly.
  • Stir in the whiskey and return the mixture to the saucepan.
  • Heat to near the boiling point, stirring constantly. Do not allow it to boil.
  • Pour into a drinking tankard and proceed to pouring the "het" pint back and fourth between the saucepan and the tankard until a froth forms.
  • Serve at once.

    hinder a hangover?? is that what it claims to do ? I'm not to sure about that to! Either way it's an interesting mix. i'll give it a try !
