Pasta Fagioli

- 3-4 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil shopping list
- 1 can Baby lima beans, drain and reserve liquid shopping list
- 1 can garbanzo beans, drain and reserve liquid shopping list
- 1 can White Cannalini beans, drain and reserve liquid shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped shopping list
- ¼ cup onion, finely chopped shopping list
- ¼ cup tomato paste or 1 8-oz. can tomato sauce shopping list
- 1 can sodium free chicken broth shopping list
- Chopped fresh basil shopping list
- ground red pepper to taste shopping list
- ½ lb. ditalini pasta shopping list
- ¼ cup grated Pecorino-romano cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Saute onion and garlic in oil for 3 minutes.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Add tomato paste or sauce, reserved bean liquids and chicken broth to onion and garlic.
- Cook on low for 15 minutes.
- Add beans and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Cook pasta separately. DO NOT mix pasta with tomato sauce.
- Put generous serving of pasta in a bowl and heap bean mixture over pasta. Sprinkle with grated cheese.

omg!!!!!!!!!! this is one of my most favorite soups i crave this and have to go to the olive garden and have this with the salad hahahaha
