How to make it

  • Melt 3 tablespoons butter or margarine in a skillet.
  • Add 8 medium carrots, coarsely shredded.
  • Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon salt.
  • Cover and cook just till tender, about 5 to 8 minutes.
  • Top with snipped parsley.
