Apple Cranberry Crumble Pie Recipe
Here's another great Thanksgiving pie....and it is a beautiful one, too. Apples studded with craberry rubies! Another one of my favorites.

Ingredients
  • 6 cups tart apples, peeled, cored & sliced
  • 1 1/4 cups fresh cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons butter, cut into pieces
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 6 tablespoons butter, softened

Directions
  1. Mix together apples, cranberries, butter, sugar, flour, numeg, ginger, cinnamon & cloves and pour into prepared single pie crust.
  2. Mix topping ingredients (1/3 cup sugar, 2/3 cup flour and 6 T butter) together so that the mixture crumbles. Put topping on top of fruit in crust.
  3. Bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hours.

My mom used to call me the cranberry queen. She loved the cranberry apple pie, I know we will love this. Wonderful little tart bounce berries make me happy. Yummy.
