Baked Tofu Recipe
I never liked Tofu until I tried this dish. SUPER EASY to make.

Ingredients
  • 2 T Rice Vinegar
  • 1 T Minced Fresh Ginger
  • 3 T Fresh Orange Juice
  • 3 T Soy Sauce
  • 1 t Sesame Oil
  • 1 Container (14 oz) Extra Firm Tofu, drained

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine vinegar and ginger.
  3. Bring to a simmer over low heat, then remove from heat and stir in orange juice, soy sauce, sesame oil and 2 T water.
  4. Cut tofu crosswise into 12 slices and arrange in a single layer in a 13" x 9" glass baking dish.
  5. Pour ginger mixture over tofu; tilt dish so all of tofu is coated.
  6. Bake until liquid evaporates completely and tofu is deep brown, about 45 minutes.
  7. The pan will look a bit burned on the edges.
  8. Let cool at least 15 minutes before eating. (I never wait that long!)
