Ingredients
  • 1cup refined flour
  • 1/2tspsalt
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp nigella seeds
  • 1 tbs vegetable oil or Ghee
  • Red chilli powder – a pinch
  • Water
  • Oil to fry

Directions
  1. Mix flour and baking soda, baking powder and salt together in a mixing bowl,
  2. Add oil or ghee and mix properly until mixture resembles the bread breadcrumbs.
  3. Add chilli powder, nigella seeds.
  4. Make a soft dough adding water.
  5. Knead for some time.
  6. Roll out dough on a floured surface to a uniformly thick flat bread.
  7. cut rolled out dough longitudinally with a knife into 1 inch strips.
  8. Cut strips diagonally to make diamond or a rectangular shapes.
  9. take a deep fry pan with oil and heat.
  10. Fry the diamond squares in oil in batch wise till crispy and golden brown.
  11. Drain well with a slotted spoon on a kitchen paper
  12. Let it cool and can be store in a airtight container
