Chocolate And Biscuits Recipe

It may sound odd but it really is good -It's more like a lightly sweet chocolate gravy. It makes enough for a crowd so the more buscuits you make will determine how many mouths you can feed.... Ingredients

2 cups white sugar

2 heaping tablespoons flour

2 heaping tablespoons cocoa powder

1 dash salt

2 cups water

2+ (16 ounce) packages Pillsbury refrigerated biscuits

Directions

Mix sugar, flour, cocoa & salt into a saucepan.

Add water and stir over medium heat until slight boil.

Simmer while biscuits cook.

Cook biscuits as directed on package.

Serve biscuits with butter and top with chocolate gravy.

Sunny -we always ate it for a big family breakfast -I know it sounds like it, but it's really not that sweet. It's more of a cocoa gravy, but I guess you could do it as a desert. I always assumed my Alabama roots considered it a breakfast because it's served with biscuits. ???
