How to make it

  • Mix sugar, flour, cocoa & salt into a saucepan.
  • Add water and stir over medium heat until slight boil.
  • Simmer while biscuits cook.
  • Cook biscuits as directed on package.
  • Serve biscuits with butter and top with chocolate gravy.
  • Enjoy!!

    Sunny -we always ate it for a big family breakfast -I know it sounds like it, but it's really not that sweet. It's more of a cocoa gravy, but I guess you could do it as a desert. I always assumed my Alabama roots considered it a breakfast because it's served with biscuits. ???
