Auntie Moms Oven Stew

- 2 1/2 lb stew meat shopping list
- 1 tbsp sugar shopping list
- 3 tbsp tapioca shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 slice bread( broken up into pieces) shopping list
- 1 cup celery, chopped shopping list
- 6 carrots, peeled and chunked shopping list
- 3-4 large potatoes, peeled and chunked shopping list
- 1 onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 (28 oz)can whole tomatoes, chopped shopping list
- 1 quart water shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all ingredients into a large roaster pan.
- Cover. Bake in pre-heated 250 degree oven for 5 hours.
- Note: Easy tip for chopping can tomatoes------leave tomatoes in can, take a sharp knife and cut through tomatoes while in can. Saves you from putting them on a cutting board or squeezing them by hand.
