This will be lunch tomorrow. I have some multi-grain tortillas I'm going to bundle this up in. I never thought of putting tuna and apples together. I have all the ingredients in the house and they need using. I'll let you know how it turns out for me. Thanks.

This sounds really yummy and refreshing. I have to try it. =)

Alterations

This is not an alteration, because the recipe is perfect as is, but a VARiation.

I altered it very very slightly reducing the amount of apple and yogurt by half. I believe that if you intend to have this chilled on lettuce you will want to keep the original 8oz of yogurt and the whole medium apple. This will supply the dressing for the lettuce.

Calorie calculations and yield are for the roll-up variation
Yields 5 - 1/2 cup servings

6 ounce can tuna in water well drained
1/2 medium granny smith apple cored peeled and chopped in very small pieces
1/4 cup dill pickle relish
1/8 teaspoon salt
4 ounces plain yogurt

Mix all ingredients well.
Heat for 2 minutes
Place 1/2 cup of mixture on warmed whole-wheat tortilla and roll it up.
