Cornmeal Sage Muffins

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups cornmeal of your choice shopping list
- 2 cups buttermilk shopping list
- 3 large eggs shopping list
- 1/2 cup melted butter shopping list
- 1 tablespoon sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon dried sage shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 tablespoon baking powder shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt shopping list
How to make it
- Mix together the cornmeal and buttermilk.
- Allow to stand for 10 minutes.
- Combine eggs, melted butter, sugar and sage.
- Mix well.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- Mix well.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just moistened.
- Pour into muffin tins.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
