How to make it

  • Preheat oven 350 degrees.
  • Cream shortening, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla.
  • Stir in peanut butter.
  • Sift in dry mixture.
  • Drop by rounded teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Press with the back of a floured fork to make crisscross.
  • Bake about 10 minutes.
  • *For richer cookies I use 2 cups of flour instead of 3.
