Mrs Ws Tangy Meatloaf Recipe
This is my family's favorite meat loaf recipe. The sauce adds a tangy zip to America's favorite dinner.

Ingredients
  • 16 ounces of tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 white onion, small diced
  • 1 cup of bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pound of ground beef

Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350
  2. Saute the onions until they become translucent
  3. Mix the sugar, mustard, vinegar and tomato sauce in a separate bowl
  4. Mix 1/4 cup of the sauce mixture, the onions and egg and bread crumbs with the meat
  5. Form a loaf and place the meat in a roasting pan and pour the sauce over the loaf
  6. Bake for 1 hour, basting every 15 minutes
  7. Serve the sauce on the side

Sounds like a great meat loaf! Reminds me of the recipe my husband's aunt gave me, although it uses tomato soup. I know how good it is, and I expect this one tastes a lot like it! Thanks for posting!
