Cheesy Potato Puffs

This comes from the Gooseberry Patch catalog. I love it as a different way to prepare instant mashed, and an alternative to plain old potatoes.
Ingredients
- 4-ounce package instant mashed potatoes shopping list
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
- 1/2 cup bacon bits shopping list
How to make it
- Prepare the instant potatoes according to the package directions and let cool.
- Stir in the cheese.
- Roll the mixture into 1 1/2-inch balls.
- Roll the balls in the bacon bits.
- Arrange the balls on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake in a preheated 375-degree-F oven for 15 to 18 minutes.
