How to make it

  • Mix all dry ingredients together, and then work in liquids. (Best mixed with the fingers like a pie crust.)
  • Spoon into a greased pudding mold . Cover with foil and steam 3 to 4 hours.
  • Makes 24 generous servings. Freezes well
  • SAUCE FOR PLUM PUDDING:
  • Beat egg yolk with powdered sugar and rum or brandy. Fold in whipped egg white and whipped cream.
  • Serve over pudding portion or let guest serve them self's

    Can you not hear the applause as this is ceremoniously brought in and set a blaze,in the depths of winter what a wonderful Victorian delight,when one found a coin in their site.
