Chop Suey Recipe
A recipe I've had for so long, I don't remember where I got it. Really easy fake Chinese food.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground turkey (can use ground beef or ground pork)
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 2 cups water, divided
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 (14 ounce) cans chop suey vegetables, drained
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • hot cooked rice
  • chow mein noodles

Directions
  1. Brown meat. Drain.
  2. Dissolve bouillon in 1 ½ cups boiling water.
  3. Add to skillet with meat.
  4. Combine ½ cup cold water with cornstarch. Sir into meat mixture.
  5. Bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat and simmer until thickened.
  7. Add drained chop suey vegetables and soy sauce.
  8. Stir and cook until heated through, about 15 minutes.
  9. Serve over rice. Sprinkle with chow mein noodles
