Easy CROCKPOT MEATLOAF Recipe
Really a yummy meatloaf and I like to add my own spices etc. and sometimes use some sliced fresh mushrooms to make the sauce

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 slices bread
  • 1 1/2 lb ground beef or ground chicken or turkey
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 small onion, chopped small
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 can (12 oz.) whole tomatoes, or use some fresh chopped tomatoes and some fresh slice onions

Directions
  1. Place the milk and the bread in a large bowl, and let stand until the
  2. bread has adsorbed all the milk- just a few minutes
  3. Break up the bread into small pieces.
  4. Add the ground beed to the bread mix until well mixed.
  5. Add the rest of the ingredients except the tomatoes.
  6. Shape into a round size and place in the slow cooker.
  7. Drain the tomatoes, and place them on the meat.
  8. Or cover with fresh tomatoes and onions
  9. Cover and cook on Low for 5 to 7 hours.
  10. Before serving, uncover to High, and cook off some of the sauce if desired
  11. It should be thick, not thin or too runny
  12. If thin, I just thicken a bit with a little gravy flour or a bit of tomato paste and correct seasonings if desired

I will try this and the others that i have copied down i didn`t know that u could make neatloaf in a crockpot new one on me i will get back with u all on how it turns out.
