Spicy Bacon Spaghetti Toss

Ingredients
  • 16 oz. Spaghetti
  • 4 thick slices Bacon, chopped
  • 1 large Onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. Dried Chili Peppers, crushed
  • 1 (28 oz.) can Italian Tomatoes with juice
  • Parmesan Cheese, grated

Directions
  1. Cook pasta, according to package directions
  2. Meanwhile, cook bacon in a large skillet over Medium-High heat, just until fat is rendered (about 3 minutes)
  3. Add onion and saute until limp, about 7 minutes; drain fat
  4. Stir in pepper flakes, add tomatoes to the bacon mixture (break tomatoes up with spoon)
  5. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens, about 10 minutes
  6. Portion pasta into warm bowls and spoon tomato sauce on top.
  7. Sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese.
