Senator Russells Sweet Potatoes

Don't know whether the late Sen. Richard Russell (D-Ga.) cooked these potatoes or just ate 'em, but they sure are good.
Ingredients
- 3 cups mashed sweet potatoes shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 tablespoon vanilla shopping list
- 1/2 cup melted butter shopping list
- Topping: shopping list
- 1 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup flour shopping list
- 1 cup chopped nuts shopping list
- 1/3 cup butter shopping list
How to make it
- Mix mashed potatoes, sugar, eggs, vanilla and 1/2 cup butter and pour into greased 1 quart casserole.
- Mix topping ingredients and sprinkle on top.
- Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
