How to make it

  • Cook, drain and mash sweet potatoes OR drain the canned sweet potatoes. Heat and mash. Add all ingredients (except TOPPING ingredients) and mix well. Pour into casserole dish sprayed with cooking spray.
  • TOPPING - Mix brown sugar and flour together. Then mix in the pecans. Add the melted butter last. (Usually looks "crumbly.")
  • Spread topping over the casserole and bake in 350 degree oven for 25-30 minutes.
