Ingredients
  • 1 slice bacon
  • 1 onion sliced thin
  • 3/4 Tsp. caraway seeds
  • 1-1/2 cups sauerkraut (drained)
  • 1/2 cup apple juice
  • Two 1-inch pork chops
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh dill

Directions
  1. Fry bacon, stirring till crisp.
  2. Add onion and caraseed and cook mixture, stir till onion is golden
  3. Add kraut cook till simmering
  4. Sprinkle both sides of chops.
  5. Cover between layers of paper towels for 10 minutes.
  6. then season with pepper
  7. in a heavy skilley heat oil till hot, but not smoking.
  8. Put chops in for 5 to 6 minutes on each side or until cook clear through.. stir in 1 Tbsp. dill in the kraut mixture
  9. Put kraut mixture on heated plate and top kraut with chops and sprinkle chops with 1 Tbsp. dill.
