For some strange reason, I think the club soda makes this batter fry up crispier than most. Let me know what you think!

Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/3 cup club soda

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients well.
  2. Dip floured fish into batter.
  3. Fry fish.
