Lemon Sauce for Ginger Nut Pudding

- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest shopping list
- 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice, fresh shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon salt shopping list
How to make it
- Combine sugar, cornstarch and water in saucepan, stirring constantly over low heat. When sauce thickens, remove from heat and stir in the remaining ingredients.
- Pour over steamed ginger nut pudding to serve.
