Molded Beet Salad

- 2 cans sliced beets shopping list
- 1 large package lemon gelatin shopping list
- 1/4 cup minced onion shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice shopping list
- 2 teaspoons prepared horseradish shopping list
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice shopping list
- 1 teaspoon horseradish shopping list
- 1/2 cup sour cream shopping list
- 1/2 cup real mayonnaise shopping list
How to make it
- Drain beets and reserve liquid then add enough water to make 3-1/2 cups.
- Combine gelatin, liquid, onion, salt, allspice and horseradish in saucepan.
- Stir over medium heat until gelatin dissolves.
- Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice then chill until mixture starts to thicken.
- Dice beets then add to mixture.
- Put in mold that has been sprayed with cooking spray and chill thoroughly.
- Combine horseradish, sour cream and mayonnaise and use as dressing.
