Mushroom Stew

- 1 pound fresh mushrooms shopping list
- 4 large yellow onions shopping list
- 1 cup sour cream shopping list
- 4 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 2 tablespoons flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 stick butter shopping list
How to make it
- In large pot cook mushrooms with butter over medium heat.
- Drain water that cooks out of mushrooms until they give no more reserving for soup.
- Sauté chopped onions in small amount of oil until brown then in a cast iron skillet.
- Melt 1 stick butter over low heat then add flour until thick stirring constantly.
- Add sour cream and stir until mixture is warm adding more flour if necessary to thicken.
- Combine all ingredients and stir well.
