How to make it

  • In large pot cook mushrooms with butter over medium heat.
  • Drain water that cooks out of mushrooms until they give no more reserving for soup.
  • Sauté chopped onions in small amount of oil until brown then in a cast iron skillet.
  • Melt 1 stick butter over low heat then add flour until thick stirring constantly.
  • Add sour cream and stir until mixture is warm adding more flour if necessary to thicken.
  • Combine all ingredients and stir well.
