Baked Pasta

- 1 pound pasta, your choice shopping list
- 3/4 pound sausage, uncased and cut into 1/2" pieces shopping list
- 3 cups marinara sauce (or more, if desired) shopping list
- 16 ounces ricotta cheese shopping list
- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded shopping list
- 1/4 cup dried parsley, crushed shopping list
- 1/4 cup dried basil, crushed shopping list
- 1 large egg, beaten shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated shopping list
How to make it
- Cook pasta.
- In the meantime, saute sausage until browned.
- Mix together the ricotta, Mozzarella, parsley, basil and salt.
- Drain pasta.
- Pour pasta back into its cooking pot.
- Stir in the sausage and the ricotta mixture.
- Mix well.
- Pour mixture into 13x9x2 baking dish.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake, covered, for 15 minutes.
- Uncover and bake 10 to 15 minutes more.

Great comfort food for winter which is the start of June for us so I will save this one for a rainy day (pun intended lol).
