How to make it

  • I use the seeds I have just cleaned out of my holiday pumpkins. So they are already in a strainer waiting.
  • Wash and clean the seeds until the membrane is all gone and your seeds feel slick and clean.
  • Place them on paper towel to dry off, do not let them dray OUT however.
  • Spray a cooking sheet with oil, I again use the butter flavored but use what you prefer.
  • Put enough seeds on to cover the pan in a single layer.
  • Spray the seeds with a light coat of oil.
  • Toss them around to coat them well.
  • Season them, lightly, a little is better for flavor!
  • Bake at 350 for about 8 to 10 minutes.
  • You do not want to burn these, they should just be turning a light brown when they are done.
  • My Grands love these. They ate them to fast for me to get the picture, maybe next time!
