Very easy when you're feeling lazy but want spaghetti.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. ground turkey (or very lean ground beef)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 28 - oz. jar/can spaghetti sauce
  • 8 oz. uncooked spaghetti, broken into thirds

Directions
  1. Brown meat with garlic. Do not drain.
  2. Stir in water and spaghetti sauce. Bring to a boil.
  3. Stir in spaghetti.
  4. Boil 15 min., stirring occasionally.
  5. Variation: Cook 1 cup chopped green pepper and one chopped onion with garlic and ground turkey. May also add red pepper flakes.
  6. Ragu or Hunt’s Traditional Spaghetti Sauce works well with this. Mushrooms would probably be a good addition.

I use Hunt's traditional sauce when I'm feeling lazy, for lasagne AND spaghetti- just spice it up a little! Great stuff for picky eaters!
