White Cheddar Mac and Cheese

                    - 16 oz. package macaroni, elbow or small shells shopping list
 - 4 1/2 T butter shopping list
 - 4 1/2 T flour shopping list
 - 3 cups milk shopping list
 - 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
 - pepper to taste shopping list
 - 1/4 cup dried minced onion shopping list
 - 6 cups shredded white cheddar cheese (3 8 oz. bricks) shopping list
 
How to make it 
                    - Cook macaroni in boiling water till tender. Drain.
 - Melt butter in saucepan. Blend in flour. Add milk. Cook, stirring constantly, till thick.
 - Add salt, pepper, onion and cheese. Stir till cheese is melted.
 - Mix sauce with macaroni. Turn into casserole dish. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes till bubbly and brown on top.
