How to make it

  • Whisk together flour, espresso, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt
  • In separate bowl, beat brown sugar and butter until light and fluffy
  • Beat in egg
  • Mix in cooled, melted chocolate
  • Slowly beat in dry mixture
  • Stir in milk until well blended
  • Chill dough in freezer at least 45 minutes
  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Remove dough and form into 1 inch balls, if necessary refreeze for 10 minutes or so in order to firm up
  • Roll dough balls in powdered sugar and place on baking sheet
  • Bake for 12-14 minutes, rotating baking sheet halfway through
