How to make it

  • Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper then arrange in rectangular baking dish and set aside.
  • Melt butter in skillet over medium heat then add diced onion to skillet and sauté 5 minutes.
  • Stir in paprika then set aside 1 tablespoon green onions and stir remaining green onions into mix.
  • Cook stirring occasionally 4 minutes.
  • Spread onion mixture evenly over chicken then drizzle with orange juice and bourbon.
  • Bake at 400 for 50 minutes turning and basting occasionally with pan drippings.
  • Top with chopped apricots and sprinkle with nutmeg then bake 5 minute more.
  • Transfer chicken to a serving dish and drizzle with pan drippings and sprinkle with green onions.
