How to make it

  • Combine flour,spinach,baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt in bowl.
  • Cut in the shortening.
  • Add warm water,about 1 tablespoon at a time.
  • Toss,until the dough can be gathered into a ball.
  • Knead about 20 times,let rest about 15 minutes.
  • Divide into 16 equal pieces,flatten and roll out to about 6" round.
  • Fry in pan,stack on foil to wrap and keep warm.
