- 1 lb carrots shopping list
- 2 pounds rutabaga shopping list
How to make it
- Peel and cut the veggies into bite size pieces
- boil for 30 minutes or until soft
- drain and mash
- add butter to taste
- serve as aside with beef on a cold night
- simple and healthy

I've never worked with rutabagas before, but I remember my Sis-IL cooking them in foil packet meals. I think she said she had to parboil them to make them easier to peel. I also like mixing turnips with potatoes or carrots.
