How to make it

  • drain and mash
  • add butter to taste

    I've never worked with rutabagas before, but I remember my Sis-IL cooking them in foil packet meals. I think she said she had to parboil them to make them easier to peel. I also like mixing turnips with potatoes or carrots.

    Simple,but complete treat to eat.

    I like rutabaga,but have never placed the carrots with them.
