How to make it

  • Wash pare and core apples but leave whole.
  • Combine water and syrup then bring to a boil.
  • Add apples and simmer until tender turning frequently to insure even cooking.
  • When apples are done remove from pan and continue to cook syrup until thickened.
  • Pour syrup over apples then serve warm or cold with cream.
