Peanut Butter Pie

I came up with this recipe after experimenting with a mississippi mud pie recipe that I did not like. I kept what I did like, decided to add somethings and try it in a chocolate crust as a pie, and it has been a holiday tradition at my house ever since. Ingredients
- 2 8(oz) pkg. cream cheese shopping list
- 1 c. powdered sugar shopping list
- 2 heaping tsp. peanut butter (creamy) shopping list
- 1 8(oz) container of cool-whip shopping list
- 1 9" chocolate pie crust (I use Oreo brand) shopping list
- chocolate ice cream topping for drizziling( I use the kind that hardens) shopping list
How to make it
- Let cream cheese get soft
- Add cream cheese and peanut butter to a large bowl and mix until well blended
- Slowly add in the powdered sugar
- Fold in the cool-whip
- Pour into pie crust
- Top with chocolate topping(I make criss-cross lines) for decoration
- Let set in fridge for at least 3 hours or overnight
- Enjoy!!
