I came up with this recipe after experimenting with a mississippi mud pie recipe that I did not like. I kept what I did like, decided to add somethings and try it in a chocolate crust as a pie, and it has been a holiday tradition at my house ever sin... More

Ingredients
  • 2 8(oz) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 2 heaping tsp. peanut butter (creamy)
  • 1 8(oz) container of cool-whip
  • 1 9" chocolate pie crust (I use Oreo brand)
  • chocolate ice cream topping for drizziling( I use the kind that hardens)

Directions
  1. Let cream cheese get soft
  2. Add cream cheese and peanut butter to a large bowl and mix until well blended
  3. Slowly add in the powdered sugar
  4. Fold in the cool-whip
  5. Pour into pie crust
  6. Top with chocolate topping(I make criss-cross lines) for decoration
  7. Let set in fridge for at least 3 hours or overnight
  8. Enjoy!!
