Confetti Scones

- 2- teaspoons olive oil shopping list
- 1/3- cup minced red bell pepper shopping list
- 1/3- cup minced green bell pepper shopping list
- 1/2- teaspoon dried thyme shopping list
- 1- cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1/4 - cup whole wheat flour shopping list
- 1 1/2- teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1/2- teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1/2- teaspoon sugar shopping list
- 1/4- teaspoon ground red pepper shopping list
- 1/8- teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/3- cup sour cream shopping list
- 1/3 - cup milk shopping list
- 2- tablespoons minced scallions shopping list
- 1/4 - cup grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- non-stick cooking spray shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees f.
- line baking sheets with parchment paper set aside
- heat oil in a small skillet, add bell pepers and thyme; cook and stir 5 minutes until tender set aside...........
- combine all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, ground red pepper and salt in a mixing bowl..stir well
- add sour cream , milk and scallions
- mix to form a sticky dough
- stir in cheese...do not over mix !!!!!
- drop by rounded tablepoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets
- spray tops lightly with cooking spray
- place in oven and immediately turn oven heat down to 375 degrees f bake 13 to 15 minutes or until golden brown
- remove to cool
- makes 24
