How to make it

  • Heat 1 tbs of oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add the bananas and saute until golden brown, turning frequently. Transfer to plate and set aside.
  • Heat the remaining oil over medium heat Add the onions, bell peppers, celery, scallions, and garlic and saute until soft, about 2 min.
  • Add the bananas and chile pepper to the skillet. Cook gently for 2-3 minutes over low heat, stirring frequently. Season to taste with salt and serve at once.
