How to make it

  • Mix 1 lb. pork and 1 lb.. ground sirloin together
  • Thinly slice 1/2 c. of green onions and add to meat mixture
  • Add 2 Tablespoons of sesame oil (depending on taste, you may add more or less)
  • Add Ginger or Garlic
  • with a teaspoon, spoon mixture in to gyoza wrapper
  • + if you have a gyoza tool, it will reduce preparation time
  • Wet edges of wrapper with water to seal
  • lay prepared gyoza with plastic wrapped lined cutting board and cover so that wrappers will not dry out prior to frying
  • heat covered frying pan with oil on med/ med. high
  • brown both sides of each gyoza 3/4minutes
  • pour water into pan, cover and steam for 5minutes
