How to make it

  • Mix corn syrup, eggs, vanilla and sugar at low speed in stand mixer
  • when mixture becomes froothy, add bourbon
  • Add pecan chips at low speed
  • Remove beater and stir in pecan halfs by hand
  • sprinkle chocolate chips to cover bottom of pie shell
  • pour mixture over chocolate chips
  • bake 55 minure at 350 or until center is firm
  • (I usually bake on cookie sheet as precaution of overflow)
  • Let cool 1 hour.
  • Slice into 6 or 8 piecies, serve as is or reheat in Microwave and top with ice cream or whipped topping
