Water Chestnuts Recipe

Ingredients

How to make it

  • Cut bacon in thirds or 1/4
  • Wrap bacon around water chestnuts
  • Fasten with toothpick
  • Place in baking dish 9 1/2 x 13 1/2
  • Bake 15 to 30 min at 350
  • drain grease
  • In bowl Mix 12 o/z Ketsup, 1 cup brown sugar, 1 cup white sugar 1 Tbs worcheshire sauce and pour over everything
  • bake 30 minutes at 350
  • serve warm

    I love this recipe - it's amazing how some sugar and bacon and ketchup can turn water chestnuts into melt-in-your-mouth appetizers! Nice post (I've never tried adding the worchestershire, but I will definitely try it next time I make these - sure to add a nice touch...)

    I enjoyed stuffed jalapeno peppers,wrapped in bacon~~
